Impact's co-founder, Brooke Wymer (she/her), has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of South Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Columbia College and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Wymer is a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practitioner and Supervisor, a National Certified Counselor, and has the Perinatal Mental Health - Certification. Her clinical expertise is in providing and supervising trauma treatment services for children and families. She has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child First Forensic Interviewing, Triple P Positive Parenting, Perinatal Mental Health, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Strengthening Families Program, and Child Parent Psychotherapy. Dr. Wymer has academic teaching experience in the disciplines of counseling and social work. As the Co-Owner and a Consultant at Impact Clinical Consulting, LLC, she provides clinical consultation services, supervision, and counseling. Dr. Wymer’s research and scholarship interests include trauma-informed supervision and treatment, parental engagement and support, and maternal wellness.  

Impact's co-founder, Colleen Corbin (she/her), received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Columbia College and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. Colleen is a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practitioner and Supervisor.  She has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child First Forensic Interviewing, Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention, Family Strengthening, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Traumatic Grief. Colleen has academic experience teaching courses in psychology, leadership and social work. Colleen specializes in providing evidence-based treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced abuse and other forms of trauma. Colleen works with individuals experiencing difficulties associated with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and difficult family dynamics.  

Impact's Director of Clinical Services, Shannon Kaigler (she/her), is a Licensed Independent Social Worker - Clinical Practitioner. Shannon comes to Impact with experience working with children and adolescents with varying needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and other behavioral diagnoses. Shannon earned her BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina, and her MSW from the University of New England. She has specialized training in school mental health, special education, Strengthening Families Program, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and integrating play therapy. Shannon works primarily with children and adolescents who have difficulty with social engagement, anxiety, and behavioral issues. 

Impact's Director of Maternal Wellness Services, Amanda Davis (she/her), is a Licensed Independent Social Worker — Clinical Practitioner and is Perinatal Mental Health - Certified. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration — Management from the University of South Carolina. She also received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina. Amanda has specialized training and experience in trauma treatment for children, adolescents and adults, as well as medical social work. She has advanced training in Child Parent Psychotherapy, play therapy, perinatal mental health, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is currently developing and coordinating the Maternal Wellness Program here at Impact.

Impact's virtual service provider, Madison Farmer (she/her) has a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology, an Educational Specialist Maters degree in Counselor Education, as well as a Play Therapy certification from the University of South Carolina. She is an LPC and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Madison spent years working in a public elementary school, as a professional school counselor, before moving into the private sector. In 2019, she presented an academic research poster focused on breaking cultural boundaries using Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) in Vienna, Austria, at the European Branch of the American Counseling Association. 

Madison is a mental health therapist who works specifically with children, teens, and young adults. She specializes in Play Therapy to help bridge the gap of language with young children. Madison is a compassionate clinician who is passionate about advocating for mental health services and access for all.  Madison provides services via telehealth exclusively.
