Impact Origins

The story of Impact began when Brooke and Colleen developed a friendship in their early days attending Columbia College. Their friendship strengthened as they completed graduate school and began their professional careers. Early on, Brooke and Colleen recognized the importance of knowledge, passion, and commitment to others when working as helping professionals with vulnerable populations. Brooke and Colleen spent years brainstorming over lunches at Groucho's and Columbia-crafted beers at Hunter Gatherer about ways to pursue their vision of a female-owned business where they could help others heal and grow and fill systemic needs in their community. During their careers, Brooke and Colleen have fine-tuned their clinical work,  taught in higher education in the disciplines of social work and counseling, and engaged in scholarly pursuits focused on reducing secondary trauma responses within helping professions. In December 2017, Brooke and Colleen decided it was time to make their dreams of opening their business a reality. Impact Clinical Consulting, LLC was established with a mission to provide clinical support to helping professionals and have an impact on clinical areas of need in our community. At Impact we are merging our professional experience and passion into the services we provide. We are committed to offering evidence-supported, research-based interventions at all levels of clinical practice that will lead to systemic change.
